PAINTER

Rose Marion Heaslip lives in Vancouver, British Columbia, where she was born in 1957. She obtained a Diploma of Fine Arts from Okanagan College.  

Rose Marion works in her studio in The Hollow, Vancouver BC, where she explores acrylics, oils and mixed-media. Currently holding workshops in Vancouver, she is also a member of Artists in Our Midst, a group of painters, fabric artists, sculptors, potters and artisans living in the west side of the city. AOM holds exhibits and fundraisers for local art programs which support art education in schools and provides art supplies and programs to the Downtown Eastside.

Travels in Britain, France, New Zealand, and Canada furthered Rose Marion’s visual understanding and practice. The West Coast seascapes and landscapes of BC continue to inspire her.
